Over the last several years Fuquay Varina has grown at a noticeably rapid rate. With such growth, comes new residents and tourists. Improving streets as public spaces, creating squares and parks as multi-use destinations  harnesses the power of public space for the common good of the community. With the conveyance of Hilltop Needmore Town Park and Preserve, Fuquay Varina has been given a rare opportunity to develop more indoor and outdoor recreational space. If elected,  I will advocate for more walking trials, basketball courts,  parks, community centers, and senior centers for our older citizens, as our baby-boomers become one of the sectors of our society.
